A posting cadence you can actually sustain

The most common creator failure isn't bad content — it's burnout from an unsustainable schedule. The algorithm rewards consistency over bursts, so the right cadence is the one you can hold for six months, not six days.

Pick your floor, not your ceiling

Choose the number of posts per week you can hit on your worst week — sick, traveling, uninspired. For most solo creators that's 2–3 short-form posts. You can always post more; you can't un-break a streak.

Batch by mode, not by video

Context-switching kills output. Instead of making one video start-to-finish, batch by phase:

  • One session for ideas — pick next week's concepts and write hooks.
  • One session for filming — shoot everything back-to-back while set up.
  • One session for editing and scheduling — cut, caption, and load the calendar.

Schedule everything

A planned week removes the daily "what do I post?" decision, which is where most streaks die. Fill your calendar a week ahead and treat it as a contract with yourself.

Review monthly, not daily

Daily metrics are noise. Once a month, look at what over- and under-performed, adjust the mix, and keep going.
